Come Home Retreats · Bar 17

Come home to yourself.

A five-day homecoming on a Texas ranch, for the woman who has spent years taking care of everyone else, until she barely knows herself anymore.

The quiet weight

From the outside, your life looks beautiful.

You wake up tired before the day even begins. You can’t remember the last time you laughed without forcing it. You feel guilty the moment you sit down.

Everyone needs something from you, and because you’re so good at giving it, it never stops. Inside, you feel strangely empty.

Quietly wondering: when do I get to be me?

If nothing changes

Keep performing long enough and you forget there was ever another version of you. The woman who once laughed easily becomes someone who just gets through the day. Your family still gets the best of you, and you are left with whatever remains.

You were never meant to disappear inside your own life.

Meet Teresa

I know that woman all the way down, because I was her.

I spent decades being exactly what everyone needed: the good daughter, the devoted mother of four boys, the one who held it all together. From the outside it looked like strength. Underneath, I had slowly disappeared, until one ordinary day I looked up and had no idea who I was when no one needed anything from me.

I found my way back through the slow, real work of calming my own nervous system, forgiving myself, and remembering who I was made to be. For years now, I’ve walked women home to themselves, on the land my family has gathered and changed people on for generations.

This isn’t another retreat. Only eight women, ever. Real nervous-system work, not just rest. On family land built to hold you. And someone who finally sees the woman underneath, before you can.

The promise

You don’t need to be fixed. You need to come home.

You’re seen

Not managed, not fixed. Seen, often before you can see yourself.

You receive

The thing women forget how to do. Here, you let yourself be held.

The joy returns

The lightness, the laughter, the you that existed before the list.

You lead from home

Rooted and clear, leading from truth instead of performing.

The way home

Three steps home.

01

See yourself clearly

In one honest conversation, I see you, often before you can see yourself, and we know quickly if Bar 17 is your next step.

02

Lay down what you’ve been carrying

Five days on the ranch to set the performance down, let yourself be held, and remember who you are underneath it all.

03

Go home as yourself again

Return rooted and light, leading your family, your work, and your life from peace instead of performance.

Imagine

Feeling like yourself again.

Imagine waking up without that familiar weight in your chest. Laughing without forcing it. Resting without guilt. Saying no without apology. Leading your family, your business, and your relationships from peace instead of performance.

Because you finally came home to yourself.

They remembered who they were.

“I realized I hadn’t laughed in years. By the second day, I could breathe again. I finally remembered who I was before everyone needed me, and built the life I’d kept putting off.”

“I came still grieving my husband, sure my best days were behind me. I left ready to say yes to a stage in front of thousands, speaking on the very thing that nearly broke me.”

The signature experience

The Come Home Retreat

Five days, six nights at Bar 17, with only eight women, ever. Small enough that no one hides and no one is a face in a crowd. Not a getaway and not a workshop to complete. It’s a homecoming, on a working Texas ranch where my family has gathered and changed people for generations.

Why it’s unlike any retreat you’ve been to: only eight women · a real working ranch, not a polished resort · nervous-system depth, not just rest · and the one thing I do better than anything: seeing the woman underneath, often before she can.

This is the Come Home Method: I see the woman underneath, often before she can, and then five days of nervous-system work on family land, with only eight women, do the rest. Not talk therapy, not a getaway, a homecoming that reaches your body, not just your mind.

Many women spend years piecing their healing together, a therapist here, a coach there, a conference, a stack of books, one retreat after another, investing far more over time than they realize and still feeling fragmented. Come Home is the one experience that does what all of it couldn’t.

The experience

What actually happens.

Every conversation, every walk, every meal, every quiet moment is designed to help your nervous system feel safe enough to set down the woman you have been performing, and remember the one who was always underneath.

01

Arrive and exhale.

The land, the animals, the creek ask nothing of you, and slowly, neither does anyone else.

02

Be seen.

I see what you’re carrying, and what you’ve been avoiding, often before you can name it yourself.

03

Regulate and release.

Gentle nervous-system work, honest conversation, and self-forgiveness, so peace reaches your body, not just your mind.

04

Shed the labels.

The identities the world handed you come off. What’s left is the woman underneath.

05

Find your voice.

On the vision walk, the turning point of every retreat, you remember what you came here to do.

06

Carry it home.

You leave rooted and light, and everyone in your life feels the difference.

Bar 17 · the legacy

Land where leaders
have gathered for generations.

Cattle, a creek, wildflowers, and a lodge that used to be a horse barn. My father-in-law built a legacy
of helping people find their way, and I carry it forward, for these women.
